fomo promo code FAQ
Everything people ask about the fomo code get30 — what it really gives you, how referrals work, and how to spot fake offers.
Updated October 25, 2026 · Independent guide
What is the fomo promo code?
+
Use get30. Enter it in the referral or invite code field when you create your fomo account, or open fomo.family/r/get30 before you sign up and it is applied for you. It gives 10% off fomo's trading fees.
Does GET30 give 30% off?
+
No. 'get30' is the name of the referral code, not the size of the discount. fomo's referral program gives referred users 10% off trading fees, which takes the standard 0.50% fee down to 0.45%. Every genuine fomo code gives the same 10%.
Is a fomo promo code the same as a referral code or invite code?
+
Yes. fomo has a single code field at sign-up. Promo code, referral code, invite code and ref code are all names people use for the same thing: another user's code that you enter when creating your account.
How long does the discount last?
+
The referral discount is attached to your account, so it applies to every eligible trade rather than being a one-time bonus. fomo sets its own terms and can change them, so check the fee shown on the buy screen.
Can I add the code after I've already signed up?
+
The code field only appears during sign-up and a referral usually can't be changed once your account exists. If you skipped it, contact fomo support from inside the app and ask whether they can attach get30 to your account.
Are there fomo codes for 50%, 95% or 100% off?
+
fomo doesn't publish any referral tier above 10%. Pages advertising bigger discounts are using the number as bait; the code you enter still gives the standard 10%. Treat anything that asks for your login, seed phrase or a deposit to 'unlock' a code as a scam.
Is it safe to use a referral code?
+
Using a code is as safe as a normal sign-up. You only open fomo's own invite page (fomo.family/r/get30) or type the code. You never share a password, private key or payment details with the person whose code it is, and they can't see or control your account.
Does the code cost anything?
+
No. The code is free to use and only lowers what you pay. You still pay the remaining 90% of the platform fee plus any separate costs such as perps funding or card-provider charges.
How do I check that the code worked?
+
Before confirming your first trade, look at the fee on the buy screen. With get30 a $1,000 buy should show about $4.50 in fees instead of $5.00. On Solana, check with an order of $190 or more, because smaller Solana orders use flat minimum fees.
Does the code work on the fomo web app and mobile app?
+
Yes. A fomo account is the same on iOS, Android and the web, so the discount follows your account wherever you trade.
Which country can use fomo?
+
fomo is available in many countries, but some features (such as perpetual futures) are limited in the United States and availability can vary by region. The app will tell you during sign-up if something isn't offered where you live.
Is fomo legit?
+
fomo is built by FOMO Labs, Inc., founded by former dYdX team members Paul Erlanger and Se Yong Park. It launched in May 2025 and raised a $17 million Series A led by Benchmark in November 2025. As with any crypto app, only trade what you can afford to lose.
